Drake’s “In My Feelings” is the number one single on the Billboard Hot 100 for the 10th week straight.
After spending this year crossing multiple milestones with his fifth studio album Scorpion,Billboard reports on Monday, September 17, that Drake’s standout single “In My Feelings” has helped him break yet another record.
As “In My Feelings” holds the top spot on the Hot 100 for a 10th week in a row, Drake now holds the most amount of weeks at the top of the Billboard Hot 100 for any artist in a year.
With this, the Toronto rapper has surpassed Usher for the artist with the most amount of weeks at the apex of the Billboard Hot 100.
“In My Feelings” clocks in at the top for the 10th week in a row, helping Drake land his 29th week at the top of the chart.
Usher previously held the record with 28 weeks at #1 in 2004. Drake’s held the number one position for the majority of the year with the help of his singles, “God’s Plan,” “Nice For What” and now, “In My Feelings.”
Drake is also the first solo artist to have three songs top the Hot 100 chart for at least 10 weeks each. ‘One Dance’, featuring WizKid and Kyla, belongs in that category.
Billboard also revealed that these are the top ranking entries on the Hot 100 chart since inception.
